If you want a great view of the city, there's always the view from atop of the Sears tower Skydeck. This city panorama is fantastic, although another option may be to hit the John Hancock tower. You can relax, get away from the tourists clamoring to get up the Sears tower, and enjoy the view along with a drink in their Signature Room cocktail lounge.

For the creme de la creme of shopping, check out the Magnificent Mile, full of high end boutiques, on Michigan Ave. For more cultural destinations, you may want to head to the Art Institute of Chicago, the Field Museum of Natural History, or Children's Museum.
